I'm thinking about dumping my 21" PC monitor and putting a 27" D9200 in my cabinet to get a more authentic MAME look.
I was wondering if this will also improve my Daphne experience for games like Dragon's Lair? I have the Digital Leisure DVD-ROM version of DL and when you convert it to MPEG2 it is interlaced and looks horrible on a PC monitor. It is possible to deinterlace the video to remove the interlace artifacts (using TMPGEnc) but this also seriously degrades the quality of the video and in my opinion makes it just as unplayable.
Has anybody tried playing the interlaced MPEG2 version of DL on a D9200 monitor that can comment on this issue? I'm not terribly familiar with the specs of the D9200, and haven't seen anybody comment on this in the past.
Thanks in advance.

I have the mpeg1 Dragon's Lair and it looks fine on my d9200..
That's weird that your Dragon's Lair DVD isn't progressive scan.

I have heard problems running at 15Khz mode. However, if you run Daphne at 640x480 (Recommended Daphne Res for Dragons Lair) in 31Khz mode, it runs fine from what I have heard.
