I there any "Pimp" fans on here?
It's just that I can sometimes see a resemblance with some of the cab
builds...i.e lots of MDF, LEDS, Over the top graphics etc...

i always thought it was neat, though it did become repetitive. I liked seeing the crap people drove around. Makes me feel better about my jeep.
I also always wanted them to do my car just so I could take half of the electronics out to either sell or use in my house. why the hell would I want a 30 inch plasma in my car when Im using a 26 inch standard res, non widescreen TV with a chipped screen in my house?

Lots of ideas from Pimp My Ride for BYOAC'ers:
1. metalflake paint jobs.
2. 22 inch chrome spinner casters.
3. faux diamond-encrusted joystick handles.
4. a sit down cab that is a hot tub.

I know you were joking, but dont knock that one! Adding a hottub to anything is simply divine!
Think about it: Say you have a wetbar in your basement, add a hot tub! Or say you have too much room in your bedroom, add a hot tub! Or, your Motorcycle just isnt pimp enough; add a hot tub!

I got in the pool yesterday and it felt like I got in a hot tub. That's just not right.

I'm in Alabama and our pool feels like bathwater too.
Not very refreshing this time of year.
But at least when you are underwater, you aren't sweating!

I gave up on the Pimp My concept when I saw a TV listing for Pimp My Pimp.

I lived in Florida for eight years, and even the Gulf gets to warm in August. It's strange to get into ocean water that's 90 degrees. Our pool in FL would get up to 94. This year we went to lake Michigan in August...very nice.

The Gulf in August can be downright hot water, and the ocean in Maine on the 4th of July will freeze your balls off.

The Gulf in August can be downright hot water, and the ocean in Maine on the 4th of July will freeze your balls off.
That's because you arent a Mainer. For us, the ocean water is just right, and refereshing for those scorching 85 degree days.
