Title: Anyone using ArcadeVGA or Soft-15Khz in 64bit Vista or XP?
Post by: retrometro on August 06, 2008, 04:44:34 pm
I'm running the latest 64bit ATI CAT drivers/software for my X700 and the resolutions available are only 640x480 and above.  The list is from the ATI utils and quickres.  Can someone confirm that this works?

Also, has anyone successfully used ArcadeVGA under 64bit vista/xp?  Their site only mentions 32bit drivers.

As far as i know, the ArcadeVGA doesn`t have any 64bit drivers yet.

As for the x700, try using older catalysts.

Andy from ultimarc wrote a couple of weeks ago that current shipments of arcadevga2 come with 64bit vista and xp drivers.

Either way, I've uninstalled Vista x64 and am now running XP x64 so soft15khz can work.
