Title: NEC PG4 2940 what remote?
Post by: Twin-X on August 05, 2008, 09:09:42 am
Hi,

I just prurchased a nec 4pg 2940 multisync without a remote.
Now to adjust screen settings i need a remote to do this.

I thought the RD-331E was the correct remote so i bought one of these.
However it does not work. The remote is not broke as i measured output on my scope.

Can anyone tell me what the correct remote should be for this monitor?

Thanks,
Jeffry

Hmm i have the correct remote.

It was a dipswitch on the back of the monitor that needed to be set.

Indeed not much info to be found.

Model:       MULTISYNC 4PG 2940G
Max Resolution:       1024 x 768
Sync Type:       Unknown
H Freq/ V Freq:       15-50 Khz / 40-120 Hz
Tube Manufacturer:
Monitor Type:       Multisync/Multiscan
Tube Model:
Tube Size:       29
Connector:       BNC; 15 pin

The picture is excellent. Down side it weighs a ton !!!!

p.s.

Do you know how to see on what frequency the monitor is running? Or is there no on screen info?
