Title: 'the bank job'

saw this a couple of days ago. forgot to give my usual little review. excellent Uk cops n robbers flick. they do them so well. its the old 'based on a true story' deal where you know lots will have been changed to make it more interesting. but checking it out on wiki, its amazing how much is based on real events. for instance a shady character introduced early on who called himself 'michael X' after 'malcolm X'

 the artistic licence here comes from weaving a story about a royal scandal with a story about a huge bank robbery. both of which are based in reality, but not necessarily related to each other. plausible though

 4 geezers out of 5 would give this a butchers hook  ;D

I thought it was pretty good.  Jason Statham is a really likable actor, but he also seems to be very prolific and doesn't seem to be very discerning when it comes to taking parts.  But this one was good.  I liked it quite a bit.

I saw it on the plane coming over to the UK. 

I liked it very much.

Just saw this the other day on DVD, thought it was pretty good.
