Im using the retroGUI layout by nexus6 for mala....
I have it setup by using malaLayout so where the snap shots are displayed it also has the video overlayer over the top of this, so after waiting on a game for 5 seconds the snap shot is replace by a video of said game. The problem i have with this, as soon as the video starts to play it overlays over the marquee part of the arcade cab graphic, usually when its just displaying a picture of a game the arcade cab graphic is overlayed over the top of the snap shot, but when the video kicks in the video overlays over the marquee part of the arcade cab. I have tried seting the video object to 'send to back' but this still doesnt work. Any ideas?

Yep. Video is always the top layer.

So theres no way around this then?

Video is always on top with current video engine. I should put a note about that on the layout editor.
This may change in future. ....
Others have maked this by changing the layout so there is no elements in front of the video window
