WTF? "Could be reconditioned to hold another game, or repaired for original game."
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/sys/778796003.html
Somebody save this thing quick!

If that were within half a day's drive I would be on the phone with that guy right now. :-\

It's been flagged already!

The pettiness of collectors using craigslist always amazes me. People can't deal with fair competition so they just flag stuff for removal. :banghead:
-
The link still works for me but it might be cached.
I don't get it, why would it be flagged? It didn't seem to me that anything illegal or unethical was going on... just some guy that had the thing for years and was seeing if anyone wanted to buy it and restore it or convert it. What's wrong with that?

Petty collectors flag things for removal so no one else has the chance to contact the seller. Or sellers flag things so there is no competition for buyers. It's a very childish thing to do but it happens on CL all over the country. CL doesn't verify, it just removes, and people take advantage of that.

I guess I'm saying what would the justification be to flag that one? I didn't see anything at all wrong with the ad.
What's next? These guys going after people doing yard sales? :dizzy:

From an outsider's perspective, in Phoenix it seems like there's only 2 or 3 guys that deal arcade games and they really hate each other. A good chunk of the CL arcades related posts are just the guys bashing each other and trying to out spam the other guy. It pretty much sucks.
Either way, I hope somebody with half a brain and a good sense of history got that game.
