Title: Video Problem

Hi. I recently got a basic computer to use in a cabinet. It has a 64 mb ATI video card in it. I installed the ATI video driver for the card and the ATI catalyst center.

I tried to run Mame32 (old version I have) just to test it out. I can run newer games fine, but most older games like Donkey Kong, Defender, and Centipede will not run and the monitor shows a box that states "Frequency Out of Range" and will not display the game, though I vcan hear it in the background.

Any ideas how to fix this? I've tried different resolutions to no avail. On my regular PC Mame32 runs fine (same settings in the program) and I am testing on the same monitor, so I figure it has to be something with video settings on the basic PC.

In the Mame32 menu bar, go to Options>default game options>advanced - check 'stretch to fit', uncheck switch resolutions. Try that. And then go back and read, a couple/few times if necessary, the Mame32 help file.
