Title: is it possible to set up games for 4 players to fit a 2p cab? like the Simpsons

I want to be able to choose from the 4 different characters on the simpsons machine or TMNT machine.
My cab only has two sticks, so you always had to play with the same characters, you cannot choose the others when you insert the coin or press 'Start'.

Is there a way to solve this, I search all the options in service mode and cannot find anything!

All 4-player Konami beat 'em ups (and the 6-player X-Men) also have 2-player romsets. Use those instead.

In the age of JAMMA, they didn't want to miss out on being able to cram those games into any cabinet possible. Simpsons, TMNT, X-Men.....they were all quite profitable.

There is a 2 player ROM set of simpsons indeed, and it lets you choose every character.
