Not sure if I put this in the right posting area, but I have a Toshiba Satellite M45 that I need to look in to getting a new rechargeable battery for, and I'd like to do so as inexpensively as I can.
Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time!

I don't know if it's the cheapest, but I just bought a replacement battery for my Satellite M105 at Batteries Plus: http://www.batteriesplus.com/ It cost about $100.
They have a retail location right down the street from me.

Being how Georgia's always last on some of these stores list of places to put one, and having never heard of it, I figured there wouldn't be any close around me. Much like you, there's one within 2 miles of my home...and it'll definitely be worth the look-see if I can save $50 - 60 dollars. Thanks!
Actually, there are quite a number of these stores within 15 minutes of my location, apparently. Good grief, do I not pay any attention to my surroundings when I'm out and about? Or is it just because 40 looms on Saturday! :D

Batteries Plus rebuilt the battery pack for my handheld police scanner radio. Cost me about $30 versus buying a new battery pack for $50 from the manufacturer. All around a good experience with Batteries Plus.

Try these guys on ebay, I bought two battery's from them one for a p133mhz laptop. The other was for a laptop only sold in Korea. I got just over 4 hrs use from both battery's.
