Hello,
I have a problem with launching PC games through MameWah.
After some trying I was able to launch pc games, but the strange thing is:
the games can be launched only once.
When I start MameWah, select a game and start it the first time, everything
works fine.
But back in MameWah, when I left the game, i am not able to re-launch the same game or even launch another game. I can only see for a very short time the message box showing that the game will be launched, but it vanishes immediately and nothing happens.
I tested 2 programs, both with the same result.
After restarting MameWah it is exactly the same: the first game starts, but afterwards it's not possible to start another game.
I'm using MameWah 1.63.
Here is my pcgames.ini:
### List Generation Settings ###
rom_path ..\PCGames\links
rom_extension LNK
dat_file
nms_file
catver_ini_file
list_generation_method rom_folder
### Execution Settings ###
pre_emulator_app_commandlines
emulator_commandline pc
post_emulator_app_commandlines
general_app_commandlines
In the log file I can find only the first launch, the other launches are not even logged:

Is there something I'm doing wrong/can someone help me or has someone
experienced similar problems?
(I already experimented with {dosbox} and {safelaunch} but with the same result.)

Try this.
emulator_commandline PC "[rompath]\[name].[romext]"{dosbox}{safelaunch}

yes, I tried this, but without success. The effect is exactly the same. The first time it loads the game.
Thereafter games are not loaded anymore.

l can confirm this situation only with one game, and l have a few, and that is Virtua Tennis 3. Starts the first time then after that just wont start unless l reboot my computer. l have tried everything, and l know mamewah very well.

So, I'm a little bit better off:
in my case I don't have to reboot it's "enough" to restart mamewah...
