Title: Public Schools. Who's in charge?
Post by: WunderCade on July 20, 2008, 03:23:55 pm
Where's the teacher, or the principal, or the campus supervisors? What are they afraid of? Whose in control in our classrooms?

Crazy black guy starts rapping in our class

The teacher is probably playing hooky, the principal is watching a DVD on his laptop, and the campus supervisors are playing golf.

They're afraid of the homeless.

From the video poster's description:

No more f*****g comments about how dillusioned you are. N*****s are funny. Think of two comedians. Eddie Murphy? Anyways my point is n******s are f*****g always confused and because they're ---smurfing--- n*****s.

STFU ABOUT PIECE OF S**T N*****S AND WATCH THE VIDEO.

Post Hell Please.

The thread is about public schools being broken, dysfunctional. You post racist trash talk in quotes and then request Post Hell. Interesting.

How about you think better of it and just delete your quote since posting it violates the rules anyway?

The racist trash talk is coming from the person you sourced.

If you were not to read ANY comments from the video and only read the info looking for some context, you would see that.

Post Hell, please.

Lol. So let me get this straight Wunder. You were just randomly surfing the net and by an amazing coincidence you just happened to stumble across a video of a black kid disrupting a class full of white kids? Correct?

1. I sourced the vid, not the author. You did that.

2. Youtube commentors are rifle with racist crap strewn all over that vast site.

3. Did I mention this thread is about schools, not about your ax to grind race-wise?

What, not plausible?  ;D

This incident occurred locally, and unfortunately....that vid is the only one I can find of what occurred after searching the site, although if there was another, you'd probably be able to quote some racist comment somewhere from there too. It's all over the place. Organic Jerk is just thought-policing as usual.

I would contend that the thread is about your own ground up axe.  Very rare is the case that you can source material without sourcing the...source...

Either way, clicking the link takes you to material that "violates the rules", therefore it "violates the rules".  Embedding is a nice coy way of posting things from questionable people and ultimately hiding them, but it still links back to where it comes from.

Ahh...the Kevin Bacon approach.  ::)

Since you've managed to hijack the thread....by all means...

That video is useless without context, which was why the first thing I did was double click it and read the racist description.  My first thought when watching the vid was "Is this a theater class or some class covering freestyle rap?"  With all of the students calmly sitting there watching I could only assume the teacher was there and that that guy had permission to be in front of the class.  Without the context from the description, there was no way of knowing.

Do you have a news article or at least a link to some place seemingly unbiased with a description of what exactly happened?  I find it hard to believe the poster of the video accurately described the context of the video when he comes off as a lunatic/racist himself.

If your read the comments section the poster is a she, not a he. And other comments posted by other individuals who apparently know this guy seems to indicate he is a nutter homeless guy, not a student. That is the issue, why is he there...able to just walk in and commandeer a classroom?

I posted the title to give it the context. Reading racist comments is irrelevant to the issue of what is occurring on the video, and constructs a strawman IMO.

I didn't read any of the comments, I only read the description of the video, and not that it matters, but she never specifies her gender in the description.

And the title doesn't give much context, only that someone is in charge at a public school, possibly the guy in the video who could be a teacher or student acting out a scene or teaching about freestyle rap.  All we have to know that it's a homeless guy wandering into a classroom is the word of the poster on youtube (and apparently some added comments to the video), and she doesn't seem to be very unbiased when it comes to race and could easily be posting an out of context video just to incite some anger.

When it comes to internet videos, I generally don't believe they are true until someone provides some indepedent evidence that it is true, such as a newpaper article on the event.  If you remember, I felt the same way about the office beatdown video (which ended up being fake), so it's not like I'm creating a special requirement for this video.

Well, meanwhile....since we can't confirm this is true apparently....

I am glad I can afford private school.
