Title: Gameboy Advance on a TV - link?
Post by: SirPeale on July 07, 2008, 12:15:11 pm
A few months ago I saw a page detailing how someone hooked up a couple joypads to a Gameboy Advance, and hooked that to a TV.  Regrettably I didn't bookmark it.  Anyone have a lead?

Probably cheaper to just pick up a GBA player and a used Gamecube.

There was a unit that allowed you to hack your GBA (old style) to play on a TV, but I don't have a link at the moment.

I just thought it was neat.  I know the unit you're talking about, this involved hacking the GBA itself.

Nuts!  You still need that converter.

I have the official gameboy player but missing the disk it comes with but it plugs onto the bottom of the console and you put the disk in the cube and the game cart in the player and power it up and it play's.

I seen on multiple place's that the cabled version of the player wich is a 3rd party has issue's with sound and video on some games like some have sound problems while others have video problems but the gameboy player apparenty runs good on all of them but I cannot even determine that until I get the disk needed  ;D.

Wasn't that only those Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network video cartridges though?

I haven't seen any actual games with that "Not compatible with Gameboy Player" message.

I believe those were some of the one's that had a problem with the 3rd party cable version but not the actual official dolphin 107 gameboy player.

Could be...
I have the complete GBA rom collection and a flash cart, so it's hard to keep straight.
