Title: Kortek ktn20 colour fade in and out

Hi guys,

I got given a kortek ktn20 a few days ago and only had the chance to install in my cab yesterday, I switch the cab on and starting playing and had a good picture, After about five minutes the picture faded to near black just show very dark red and after a few seconds the picture returned and i started playing again, but again after five minutes it faded but the picture returned a lot quicker then the first time, i left the screen running for an hour or so and watched and it seems like every five minutes the picture fades then returns.

Could this be a tube fault or a dodgy cap?

Korteks are known for lots of bad solder joints and lots of bad capacitors.

Thanks ken, so re flow solder joints and replace with cap kit?

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a list of what caps i need to change on a kortek ktn20? I need to order them for a guy whos going to fit them, Ordering a kit from the states would add extra cost to a budget i don't have.
