they have a deal on ebay for parts and i wanted to know if there sticks and buttons are good quality
-
I ordered the 20 buttons and 2 sticks from them, but after shipping it turned out a little cheaper if I just bought the parts from their website (under Arcade Gear) so I did. I don't have them installed yet, but I like them a lot. The buttons are a bit shorter than Happ's buttons so routing the underside of your control panel may be necessary. Also, the when the switches are pressed they have a boingy sound to them unlike the Cherry switches... kind of a hollow sound instead of a clickety sound.

This has been asked alot.... I've used them before (http://ubercade.randomdrivel.com) and are using them on my current project.
The joysticks are "clones" of happs supers. The buttons are shorter thread/length (I mounted them on 3/4" plywood just fine... if I had used lexan on top of that, i'd need to flip around the nuts to make it work)
The microswitches aren't cherry, but are functional... The buttons seem a little bit "thinner" plastic (that's what I attribute to BJ's clickier/hollower ness sound) compared to happs...
They come in any color you want, as long as it's black...
*shrug* at 50 cents a button and 5.00 beans a stick, consider it the k-mart/walmart brand compared to the "Tide" / "pepsi" of happs/IL/wico
YMMV (and i'll dig up one of the threads on this) EDIT linkage to older thread (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=6322;start=msg43972#msg43972) *shrug*
