Title: Holster for LCD Topgun?
Post by: ddrtist on July 02, 2008, 11:34:33 am
Does anyone who owns the LCD Topgun have a favorite way to holster it on your MAME cab?  I can't find anything specifically made for it, but I DID look at the holsters from Happ.  I found this holster:

Do you think this will work?  Is there a homebrew method anyone can recommend for getting this bad boy in a holster?

At home depot they sell a bike rack hanger made by closetmaid.  I have 2 LCD topguns and it works great.  Looks good and is fully functional.  I think it cost me $5.

Mount it so that the hook is vertical and you just hang the guns on it through the trigger.

I used some tool holders similar to these.  Second shot is of them installed on my cab.

brock, would something like this be sufficient for my topgun?  The Home Depot website says that it is 6 3/4" deep.

That will be more than enough.  My hooks are only about 3 1/2" deep.  I think the distance between the two legs of the hook that is more important.  There is about 2" between the legs on my hooks.
