Title: arcade chassis
Post by: alienware32 on June 29, 2008, 06:05:14 pm
do picture quality varies from chassis to chassis because i have a weyia 826 and it looks good on the 80s games but it looks like crap on the 90 games

the simple answer is you get what you pay for
you see many variations of quality, for example if you offer up a nanao ms9 next to a hantarex polo the difference is unbelievable in regards to scan lines
weiya is at the cheap end of the market so its all about costs
the best monitor i have seen recently is the new sanwa tri sync, its about double the cost of a rodotron or weiya

if you talking arcade boards then maybe the quality of the chassis is in doubt
if you are talking emulator of some kind then its something to do with your setup
