Title: My son & I were watching Mash last nite & noticed a pinball machine.

My son & I were watching MASH last night & noticed a pinball machine in the officers club.  It was a Spot-A-Card made by Gottlieb in 1960 a little late for the Korean war.

Continuity and anachronism errors really get me. I noticed in the new Indiana Jones movie there was a Slip n Slide in the nuke testing area. These weren't marketed until 1961, but I believe the movie was set in the mid 50's.

I don't understand why they do not put more effort into researching props especially in high budget blockbusters.

Watched the A-team the other day and they were in a movie theatre and upstairs were two cabs, a Joust and the other one I couldn't recognize. I think both were in the right timeframe ;)

Im a huge MASH fan, and I had never noticed the name of that machine. Theres an episode based around a pinball machine, IIRC. BJ goes nuts about money and starts betting nickels on games. Dunno is it was the same machine though...
