Title: Buying Monitors in Australia?
Post by: ryantheleach on June 26, 2008, 07:24:21 am
Has anyone had any luck in finding any arcade monitors in Australia, I've fired off a few emails but no one seems willing to return them.

I can recommend Jomac too, as I have purchased a few chassis from him.

Delivery times are super-fast, and he will give you telephone support too.  I've had amazing results using his "Sharp Image" chassis on 29" screens recovered from old TVs (hint - Philips is a good brand, but almost anything except a Sony trinitron screen will do).

You have to be prepared to attach a monitor chassis to a screen, and take some simple measurements from the yoke with a multimeter before ordering.

+1 for jomac

Joey fixed a chassis that came free with a dead cab I picked up ... great service and reasonable prices.
