Title: Suggestions on where to buy wiring supplies online
Post by: RetroGreg on June 25, 2008, 09:47:23 pm
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy wire and terminal blocks online? I've done some searches and am not having good luck.

Thanks for your help!

I don't know of any sites with good prices, since I tend to just walk into Radio Shack and buy my stuff. You can order online from them.

I'm not currently carrying wire.  Something that would interest you?

Not sure where you're from, but for anyone in the UK wondering, go to Maplin.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't even think of Radio Shack. I don't even think I've ever seen one out here (moved to Phoenix are 4 years ago). They were all over California.

I originally went to the Lowe's near my house and they had no 22 gauge wire for hobbies at all. I really thought that was strange. So I will be ordering it online to make it easier since I'd probably have to drive all over the valley to get any it seems.

But yeah, Peale - any vendors on this site that carried it would get 1st look from me. I think I checked your webpage last week for it actually. I would have ordered the wiring kit from Divemaster with all of my other parts, but I thought I might need more wire than what came with it and I'd rather be safe than sorry and buy too much than too little!
