Well Ive been inactive for a while but I'm back. I just finished building my daughter a mini ms. pacman for her birthday (i will post pics soon). Now I'm starting a project Ive been wanting to do for a while but i just wasn't sure how to do it. I'm gonna build a cabinet for golden tee. I have a golden tee 97 jamma board and will have more in the future. I want to build a cabinet like the one in the link below. Please dint flame me but i just couldn't find the exact info that i thought i needed to start this project so I'm asking you guys for some help. Ive built 4 cabinets but this is my first jamma cab. My questions are
1. I have the pcb and that is it what else do i need.
2. I want to use a 17" lcd screen with vga input Ive seen a few converters but what exactly do i need to make this work on the lcd. And how to hook it up.
3. What kind of power supply do i need for the pcb? And how to hook it up?
4. Which jamma harness do i need and does it just snap right on the pcb?
5. what is a good trackball that will be the easiest to use with the pcb and where do i wire it up at.
6. WHat speakers and how to wire them up?
I know nothing about jammas so any info, pics, pinouts would be great. Please post links to any thing that i need or could use. Once again thanks so much for any replies.

No help really, just curious. Why go with the jamma setup in the first place? If you went the emulated route it be lots easier. You have the board so legality isn't an issue. All your hookups would be a snap too...

Thats a good point. It would be easier for me to go the computer route i could prolly find a cheap computer and screen for the cost of all the stuff i need to get the jamma cab running.

golden tee cabs are cheap to get complete, i got full gt4 for £31 ukp
ok the trackball that is in it as a 3" beatson imperial, the psu i got in mine is a harps one, its like a pc one
the harness is just jamma but not with all connections, theres 5 buttons , and trackball one is separate and goes into the pcb and hard drive
the tournament editions have led scrollers on them, why not just do mame and get all gt games, just a thought
