I'm pretty much done painting and sanding(still got a couple of touch ups.) I am preparing for the next step and I had a couple of questions for you all.
Once painted and sanded, do I.... :dunno
a) Use polyurethane?? if so, do I sand the polyurethane as well once dry? how many coats?
b) use rubbing compound and buff??
My main concerns are cleaning the cab afterwards, and what if I were to decide to print out side-art at a later time. Will it stick to any of the above products? Or will this cause any problems.
Well, I'm late for work...gotta go.
working 6 outta 7 days a week is really slowing my cab down... :hissy:

bumping for answer please.... :notworthy:

I would just paint it and be done with it. The sideart may have adhesion problems with a sealed\buffed surface. I don't think any of the arcade machines made back in the day bothered with either process. Plus, I would think both of those options would be fingerprint magnets.

What I did was build it. Tear it apart. Paint the pieces. Build it again. Play. Poly what? Rubbing compund? This is an arcade game... play it already. :)

thx alot guys, fingerprints were my main concern.
plus this way i'll be able to add side art at a later time.
