Well I bought a Lelands Quarterback today as well as a Buck Rogers Planet of Zoom! $25 each, they were said to be broken (we all know what that means). so i go them home and looked at the Quarterback and the monitor wires from the gameboard were unplugged, therefore the monitor was grey. In the bottom of the cabinet, the original books and paperwork was all there! Read the schematic and found out where each wire went, adjusted the colors and WahLah Fully working game. All it needs now is for a 6 dollar marquee light from walmart!
Cant say the same for the Buck Rogers Cab... Great shape except it looks as if the people didnt know what they were doing and in return ruined the game! A possible tube swap might be in order, as soon as i find out the chassis, (waiting till tomorrow to post when there is light for the camera).

all the pics above were quarterback... except the one obvious one.
the below ones are all buck rogers!

My first guess on the monitor chassis is a WG K7000.
And it is your lucky day Tyler. You know that cabinet I have that has the monitor in it with a little bit of screen burn.........
We can put that monitor into your cabinet for now if you want, at least it would be playable. I don't have a use for it at the moment. It is a K7000 that has been recapped etc...
And don't you owe me money!!! HAHA

Nice find with the Buck. I hope you restore it. (Rare game).

I am planning on that... if i can find the control panel because the Joystick in rusted and ceased up (FUBAR). If that is possible i will gladly restore it.
The cab is currently in Lutus' garage because he has a monitor for it!

Lets see, all we need to do is...
-Swap in another monitor
-Replace all the buttons, all of them
-Find a new flight stick. This one is rusted BAD, cannot even move the stick.
-Create an entire new harness for the gameboard to the "gameboard cage door". (kinda like a nintendo cage how the game board slides in and then you put the cover on it
-Install an on/off switch
-test/troubleshoot anything after that
Should be done by supper time tomorrow right?!?
