Title: Problem w/ NullDC controls in MAME Cabinet through JPAC. EDIT: Problem solved!
Post by: chairhome on June 11, 2008, 10:14:39 am
Hi everyone,
I recently got my first MAME cabinet running (love it!) on a Killer Instinct 2 cabinet.  MAME works fine on it, and the nullDC emulator works wonderfully.

The problem I'm having is with the controls.  I've configured the controls and it works fine, until I start playing... I believe that the problem is that with the way that the JPAC is set up, one of the buttons on the arcade is ALT and since nullDC runs like a window, even in fullscreen, I end up pressing ALT and that screws up the emulation because it thinks I'm trying to access the menu.  Is there a workaround to this to disable the GUI?  Or do I need to reprogram the "ALT" to another button?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:
Please disregard!  I found the IPAC/JPAC programming utility.

It's always a good idea to leave the original question in your topic. That way people looking for help later can see you topic title and find out what you did to solve it.
