Title: Vpinmame Pinmame How do i Flip screen orientation Horizontal to Verticle View?
Post by: mrclean on June 10, 2008, 11:49:10 pm
MAME was rol=1 I was told how do rotate vpinmame tables using:
Controller.Games("(gamename)").Settings.Value("ror")=1 ??  but im lost

In the script i have no idea, any one have a screen shot of their vpinmame script or where to place this or instead of needing to do it for all tables is there a way to do it for all the tables changing the horizontal view to verticle view ?

As someonein the planning stages of a lcd pinball machine I hate to tell ya this but... A company actually sells LCD pinball tables and if the "gossip" is correct they frown on VP and FP and the ability to do this so instead of spending $4-6000 on one of there tables you can Build it yourslef for cheap. From my meager reading so far it seems they have threatened leagal action on the pinball emulator programers and the info has been deleted from most forums ( i have yet to find any, but i must admit my research has only consisted of a few hours of googling and reading the emulator forums). As far as I can tell the ability to do it is still in the programs but the info on what to set and how to set it is hard to come by. I have read that the non expiring version 6 of Vp is the easist one to do it with (but with xp with SP installed you will have crashs on exit of tables). It also sounds like several tables need to be "tweeked" to work right which I'm assuming means changing artwork and probebly moving some table itmes, but I'm not sure.

good luck, if you come across it, posting it may not be wise as it will (again, from waht i can gather from reading, only make things worse for the emulation guys).. PM's are your friend if you want to help people out.. and no sorry, I dont have the info... YET   >:D
