Title: A truely great administrator: Saint
Post by: DarkKobold on June 03, 2008, 05:14:46 pm
So, after moving to a small apartment, and leaving my games 2000 miles away, I joined a different video game community. This administrator of the new community has given me a greater appreciation of the work Saint did on this board while I came here.

He always stayed away from the board politics. He remained neutral, and mature. He never denigrated any poster on this board.

Now I understand why that is so important.

It allows people to respect his decisions. His decisions are regarded as in the 'best interest of the community' and not as a personal bias.

I just felt the need to come here, and remind everyone how lucky they are. I also see why in real life, you must be very respectful and mature to every subordinate, even if that means removing the 'joking' aspect of an interpersonal relationship.

Thanks for the life lesson, Saint.

Apparently someone here doesn't realize that Saint is the evil mastermind behind all of the custom titles around here. He jokes with the best of them...but in a fair way of course. ;D

As an atheist, I find it hard to believe that Saint even exists.  You can't have one without the other.

Quite possible, but if he hasn't done it yet, I doubt that comment will put me over the edge :)

Saint is the most level-headed innertubenets "friend" I know.

Clearly, this is not saying very much :dunno
