Isn't "warp speed" a term from Star Trek ?
OOPS! :laugh2:

Wow, there is a Marble Madness II in that collection. Anyone know who this guy is? Hopefully he does the world a favor and allows that gem to be dumped.
-
He's the one that got all the stuff from Atari Games when Midway closed it down AFAIK. I think the story is on his site...
I'm sure he still has a TON of other stuff.
-
'Top Secret Binders'. That's funny.

Oh god... don't even get started on that.
He claims that he's the only person on the planet with the ROMs and if they got released he'd go to jail.
At least, that was the last line of BS I've heard. He's been rubbing his ownership into people's faces for years.
He's said that there is one other owner of a MM2 which is where he got his ROMs from, to repair his board, and he made an agreement that he would not share them.
I've never heard of him rubbing it in, though. Do you have a reference for that?

I hate to enter this discussion, but..
Everyone can play it. He brings it to CAX all the time.
-
In other words, the only allure of the title is that few have played it and none of us can own it.
And the moment he hands out the ROMs, most of the value of the machine is destroyed.
Not saying that it's good that he's withholding them, just that I understand it.

Give him a couple of beers, bring on some girls and read those EPROMs :) (Hey it's a party right ?)

I personally think the game must be fairly miserable or he would have pushed to get it released by now. In other words, the only allure of the title is that few have played it and none of us can own it.
I wonder this too. Maybe it's another Spy Hunter II. And what's with those pimple sized trackballs?
So who here has played it?
-
It doesn't have trackballs. It uses joysticks. This has been over and over'd at MW, and the consensus seems to be that the game blows, for a few reasons.
-
Well, all I can say is that these photos weren't taken with a camera and tripod.

When it's finally released to the public, I think we'll find that dozens of people had copies of it. :/
LOL, those screen shots are exactly 336x240. :P
So if this has been dumped and emulated, how is it still such a big secret?
