Hello all,
I am in the planning phase of two candy cabs, one in a neo geo layout, and one a 6 button. I have run into an interesting question. I have never playing KOF at the arcade, but have played the 3 and 2 button neo geo games. How are you suppose to place your fingers on the 4 button control layout? Are you suppose to use your thumb?
Also, does the hori USB ps3 sticks work on the computer?

You should use the fingers that you are more comfortable with or the fingers which you can perform better with. Some people -myself included- cannot move the "pinky" finger as fast or as comfortably as the thumb so we use the thumb and three fingers.

I use all my fingers, not the thumb. I'm a guitar player, so using my pinky isn't a problem.

depends on who Im using in KOF or what game Im playing in neo geo. for games/characters I dont use the D button with I use pointer(A) middle(B) and index(C) when I do use the D buttons its thumb on A pointer on B middle on C and ring on D

Thank You - that helps alot!
BTW games like metal slug I have been trying to map things for B, C and D as it is more comfortable... I have big hands BTW

Your pointer and index fingers are the same thing. Your C button finger is commonly referred to as the ring finger.

in my defense I typed that at 1 in the morning, but yeah I meant ring finger, like the /\/ | \/\ song.
