I saw the new rambo movie. I thought it would suck but i actually liked it.
If you are offended by guts and gore or ultra violence stay away.

I thought it was pretty good too. The violence is VERY graphic (kids are brutally murdered). Sadly, that country actually has had massacres much like that in the movie.

watched it last night, and was suprised that I enjoyed it. The BluRay version is very clean and has a great picture.
Yes, graphic and gory.

Loved it - love them all.
Sad thing was, I went to see it on the first showing on opening night, and I was only 1 of 12 in the cinema.
I was really disappointed at the turn-out.

I saw it yesterday and it did indeed not disappoint. The whole angle of "war is a dirty business but somebody got to do it" came over quite well and the movie wisely staid away from the "US hero to the rescue" theme. In real life, Myanmar (or Burma) is ruled by a bunch of thugs that are worse than any religious fanatic anywhere. The issue is that without the veil of religious (Iran) or political (North Korea) fanaticism most of the world ignores the country. They don't have oil or (obvious) nuclear ambitions so the powers that be just let the generals go about their business oppressing and killing their own people. A simple group of people going in with guns doesn't change anything but the condoning attitude of the world makes me sick sometimes :soapbox:
