Title: 2 More! Centipede and Battlezone.
Post by: usedelectronics on May 28, 2008, 12:00:53 am
Couple fresh projects...
#1 Centipede.
Needs sideart and CPO. (And a FULL cleaning).
Solid overall.

#2 Battlezone.
Except for the torn rubber on the step, it is REMARKABLY clean. Nearly perfect sideart, PERFECT periscope plastic, Clean CPO and joysticks. NO swelling or broken corners.
Interesting serial number as well... #1004

I'll rebuild the step for battlezone, and move it into the arcade!

Wow...that BZ is a bute! I love restos where you start ahead of the game because the cabinet is in great original condition.

That's gonna look real nice. Nice score on the Centipede also...a must have for any collection IMO.

Agreed.  The sideart is cherry.  Good deal.  You can pick up replacement rubber for the step at Ace Hardware.  They cut if by the foot from a roll.

Totaly love the BZ.

That Centipede can turn out very nice as well with some TLAC.

Well, got some time to start looking through the machines...
Realized that the battlezone is missing it's cardboard artwork inside.. That's not going to be fun to find I imagine...

Centipede's electronics are in excellent shape, with all it's original serialized parts. The monitor is roasted, but I have a new replacement in stock for it already.

New big blues for both, ARII rebuilds, a monitor rebuild on battlezone... Sheesh, I thought these were going to be quick and easy!
