I was bored, so got some 1/2 Ply and went to work. This was based loosely off a "William's Defender Stargate 2&1 cabinet" as I liked the look of it, but downsized a bit to fit a 20" TV I had laying around and also make the most of a 4x8 sheet. It is 5'5" tall, and will be slightly higher when I get some casters under it. I actually got almost all the wood off of a 4x8 sheet, as each side was cut to be 2' deep. I added 4" of the front bump out with some spare wood off the board.
I was going to put a couple Jaccs games I bought used off of eBay in it (pacman, galaga, pole position, etc), with a A/B box to switch between the 2, but still undecided. I have Happs controls sitting in a box already as well.......
Still undecided if I am going to cover it, or just paint it black, or whatever.....just a work in progress.....my wife still thinks I'm nuts...
Thanks to Craig C who replied to my emails a few weeks back and suggested 1/2 ply.....it's really easy to work with.

I don't have anything for a back yet....was not sure if I was going to use 1/2 ply, or get some of that pegboard stuff?
Plan on doing some t-moulding as well.....but I got time for that.....

Got controls wired to the 1st Namco unit, all works! (http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/5240/12853469wf3.jpg) I am going to wire in a 2nd Namco 5 in 1(http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/5371/87189369vc6.jpg) to the same controls, and switch between the 2 with a power A/B type toggle.
Controls will get moved around, as I don't like the layout, and I still need to find a wheel for the pole position game.....(shaft is in the center of the panel board.)
