heya ken, i saw that you might have a repair guide for this or you might be able to help. I have a kt1403 that is flatline, I went into the 300's caps to change them first as I do not have a scope to anything to test the tda. On the board though, I remember taking out a cap one way and the board print does not match the way the cap came out. I dont know if it is just my head or what but it was cap 313 right next to 424. The board shows them both - the same way but when I checked the - to ground the positive side beeped continuous on the meter instead of the -. I dont know if you have a chassis laying around or happen to remember the cap sizes for 314, 313 and 424 so I can double check these. Thats the problem with old stuff. Nothing to compare it to and hoping that the schematic and the board print is actually correct. Any help would be very greatfully appreciated...thank you, steve meyer

As with everyone on this message board, just clicking on our names brings you to our profile pages. My email address is shown there. Send me an email reminding me which guide you want and I'll email.
The Telco KT-1403-v guide lists all the bad capacitors. Plus I have notations on mismarked polarity and differences in part values between older chassis and newer chassis.
