Title: Question about 45 degree angle with table saw
Post by: shredso on May 26, 2008, 09:01:33 am
I'm cutting the 45's for the angled top section of my cab based on Lusids plans.  I have a small Ryobi table saw.  The piece is too large to put the guide on the left, and if I put the guide on the right, it takes about 1/4" off the edge.  This would have been fine, but I already cut the wood to size (that's how the book said to do it).  I could just use a jigsaw with a guide, but I figure If I have this table saw I should probably learn how to use it.  Thanks.

not sure i undrestand, but you attach a scrap piece of wood to your fence, then remove the material where the blade cuts.

Thank you, that helps.  I knew there was some simple thing I overlooked.
