So I'm ready to put my shiny new t-molding on my Rush the Rock driving cab this morning, and I discover that the part of the t-molding that inserts into the wood on the original molding is visibly larger than that on the new molding from t-molding.com. The result of which is that the new molding doesn't grab well enough when inserted into the slot, just as if the slot had been cut too large, although in this case the original molding is too large.
I can either use some sort of glue to hold the new molding in place (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=78854.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=78854.0)), or
I can try to find molding with a larger bottom piece. Any ideas?

I would use contact glue.

I would suggest either hot glue or contact glue (hot glue keeps it in place, but is easier to remove if need be). T-Molding.com also has some molding with a larger neck (I had a similar issue to you, but fortunately I had ordered a bunch of samples and went with the once that fit snugly). If you want to get molding that fits properly, I'd suggest emailing them with the dimensions of the slot you need (probably ~1mm larger than the molding you currently have, but that is just a guess), they're very helpful.

Hot glue FTW.

Hot glue worked wonderfully!
