Title: Monitor flickers for 5sec's when switched on

Hi i am selling my old crt 21inch monitor, but ever sinced i brought it, when i switch the screen on it flickers for 5sec than a click sound comes than it stops but it never flickers anymore when its on, only when i switch it on that happens everytime.

Is this normal?

Its a iyama Vision Master Pro 502

That's the internal degaussing and is normal behavior.
