Title: turbo out run gearshift turbo button question and some board
Post by: G1zm0 on May 13, 2008, 06:56:43 am
I got a TURBO OUTRUN  cab in need of repair (cosmetic) anyway the hi/low gearshift turbo button is only activated when it says overheating and you put shift to high.
I looked in back at the wiring but the turbo button i presume is ground and signal wires, one (ground ) is connected to microswitch ground(thats used for hi low) and the other is twisted on to a blue wire thats connected to a molex connector.
What should this wire be connected to so it works independent of the shift hi mswitch?

The guy who owns the laundrymat next to where I work has a Turbo Outrun there. I will ask him to email the people he leases the games off of about it. (Assuming noone else replies with relevant info). This could take a week, as I dont run into the guy but every few days...

Here's the Turbo Outrun Upgrade manual.
I found it here (http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/ARCADE/K-R/Outrun%20Turbo%20(Supplement)%20%5BNew%20Parts%20&%20Replacements%5D%20%5BEnglish%5D.pdf) and here (http://arcade.dustybri.com/nonjamma/turbooutrun.html). I hope it helps.
