So I just picked up a crappy old bartop today for fairly cheap as a MAME mini-project (though, it looks like it'll be a bigger project than first thought).
Anywho, I checked out the game on it and it is an older "version" than what is currently MAMEd. The game on it is untitled, but it was created by "U.S. Games" and the newer versions of it are labeled as "Games V18.2," "Games V18.7C," and "Games V25.4X" in MAME. The version I have is "15.6X". Is this worth having dumped to a ROM or should I just scrap the board (the machine works)?

Is it just a poker or some other card game? Are these even in MAME? I don't care, so I don't really know.
I wouldn't trash a working board. Offer it on KLOV or here, even if you don't want money for it, have someone pay to have it shipped.
That looks like it'll be a cool little machine for MAME, btw.

not a bad score!
As far as trashing the boards i wouldnt... somewhere somebody wants them!

It's a set of minigames including "Brick-Break" (I and II), a few card games (Poker, Blackjack, Craps), and a bunch of awful trivia games (Sex Trivia 1 & 2, Entertainment Trivia, Sports Trivia). Overall, not a great set of games.
I've emailed The Guru at MAME Dev to see if he has any interest in dumping it to a ROM, since it looks like (according to MAWS) he dumped the 18.2 version. If he doesn't get back to me, I'll probably just put it up on here for the cost of shipping.

I say if it can be dumped, and it has not already, have it done. I'm sure someone will. Who knows maybe some time in the future someone wants to play this game for the nostalgic purpose of getting back to their youth only to find out it no longer exists, anywhere, even if it is a crappy game someone must have liked it enough to make it.

Not always true...
