Title: Tok, I see your Defender score and raise you a Galaga score

So, today I managed to get a new personal high score. I thought of TOK and his Defender score. I quickly snapped a pic. I managed to last a few more levels and it was all over.

Wow!  How do you get a score like that?  My top is 257,780, and that's 100k over my second highest score.  I guess I should watch some replays.

(Heh, as it was loading I only saw the 045110 and thought "amateur!")

Galaga is my all time favorite game for sure. My high score was around 200,000. Once I built my cab I played the fast shoot version religiously everyday and started reaching 500,000 and more. It finally became "easy" and I got bored with it. So, I started playing the regular shoot version thinking that I would still only be able to reach the 200,000 mark. To my surprise I was getting close to the same as the fast shoot scores. Probably because I got practice in those higher levels and got my timing down.

I got nothin' for ya buddy. That score is amazing! Just based on how long this took, I'm sticking to Defender.  :cheers:

Speed fire or normal fire?  Standard fire or repeat fire?

Actually...it's a good score regardless.

That score is from fast shoot. My good games on normal shoot are right at 500k now. Once you get decent at fast shoot, I think it's totally possible to play for as long as the game will hold out.

Whats repeat fire anyways?

Also depends on your free ship setting...having them at 20K then every 60K is alot easier than only getting 1 at 30K and 1 at 80K :)
