Title: TNT2 on an arcade monitor ???
Post by: Stephen on March 11, 2002, 12:01:15 pm
Has anyone used an original arcade monitor with a TNT2 based video card? If so, does it work?

The ArcadeOS site mentions some cards that work and others that do not. TNT2 is not listed in either list.

I need to know the same thing, maybe this will bump it back to the top!

Bumpity, bump!

I wanna know too.  I have a TNT2 Ultra in my main PC right now and wanna upgrade it a GeForce2 or 3.  I'd like to know if I should keep the TNT2 Ultra for a future MAME cab or get rid of it.

I am guessing that it would work along with the Advance MAME software, since it is listed as a supported SVGA board in the documentation. Refer to: http://advancemame.sourceforge.net/card.html

Oh, and thanks for bumping this back to the top :-)

I've used AdvanceMAME on my PC (with TNT2) on a multisync monitor, but would like to know if it would work well (or at all) with a std or med res arcade monitor.
