Perhaps this is the new cab SUITS was talking about building?
http://tucson.craigslist.org/ele/663980420.html
...or not.
Question: Can someone please let me know where in the hell the buttons for 2 of the 4 sticks are?
-
Sweet Jeebus! That checker pattern made my eyes bleed!
-
HarumaN ... I'm with you...
:dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:
... I think this is probably the only mame machine that is capable of making you vomit!
-
Holy hell, that is a crap mame GRAND CHAMPION!!
And yes, I also felt a bit nauseous after viewing it.
-
Maybe it belongs to the Cheap Trick guitarist.

They don't need buttons.
The text clearly says that they are there for Karate Champ and Crazy Climber.
You only have to remove 2 e-clips, 8 bolts, and 16 quick-disconnects to easily swap the player 1 controls from 4-way for Karate Champ to 8-way for Crazy Climber.
-
Plus you have to reach across about an acre of real estate to get to the sticks...
-
It's one of those cabinets I see sometimes that inspires me....
...to send pictures to everyone on my MSN Messenger and we all have a good laugh.
Horribly ugly with a terrible layout.
-
its pretty rough...
...makes you wonder... has this person ever actually seen an arcade machine before? Most of us here can look at something, understand what it is and then build something of our own, either the same or with improvements...using what we would commonly refer to as "common sense" <- relative term
...kind of makes me feel bad and good at the same time you know?
Be thankful for your gifts!
-
Come on, people. How many of you can play checkers or chess on your MAME control panel, hmm?
Ah-ha, so suddenly this cabinet isn't so lame after all, eh?
:laugh2:

Rook takes Knight

Put a strobe light in that room, turn the other lights out, and I guarantee people start having seizures.
:o

funny replies, lets just all take a breath and be glad its homeade and not a gauntlet cab redone in checker.

The text is probably blocked at work.

Hey... come'on guys... he's only asking 500 bucks... :o
-
It isn't bad for the price. It would only take about $30 in stuff and 3 or 4 hours in time to turn that entire machine around.
Drill a new panel with a more friendly layout, rip off that contact paper, repaint, done.

For three, I might consider it. But for five? Forget it. There's an interesting Xevious for five and a GT99 for three that might be better deals than this mess.

Same thought, different band. Slap a Fastway marquee on there, and you've got a theme!

Wow, that is one ugly looking dog house!
-
It is a Gauntlet Legends cab - which is ugly by itself. But paige is right, it wouldn't take much to change it from the nascar version.

That's no Legends cab -- it's an original Gauntlet (and I don't find it ugly, although it is awkward).
While I've seen some nearly-criminal conversions (including hand-painted CPO and marquee), this is the worst so far.

Nahh - control panel is less than 7 feet wide...
-
Dude must be having LSD flash backs to the 60s.
That could have been a prop in that Tom Petty video with Alice in Wonderland is running around.
Waste of a Gauntlet.
-
It wouldn't take that much to restore it though. The hardest part would be not puking while removing that shelf paper.
-
:censored: are you serious? $500.00 with that theme take it to Steak N Shake :laugh2:
-
it has 21 buttons
:dizzy:
i am already lost with 3 ;D

I guess I was blinded by the art. I thought he said it was a Legends, though I thought not. Awkward works.
