Title: FS [US-AZ] 4-Player Bucky O'Hare Jamma PCB
Post by: HaRuMaN on May 01, 2008, 09:39:12 pm
Working 100%, sound and video.  Comes with original manual (not a reprint).

$200, or best reasonable offer, shipped to the US

Don't know how much interest there will be in this, but figured I'd try here before fleabay.

I take PayPal.

Remember that silly punk that was talking crap to everyone who was ripping on SlikStik?  I think Saint put in some autocensor catches for his ridiculous 1337-5P33|< (that's leet speak) that he was repeatedly asked not to type in.

I didn't catch that, but that's pretty funny.  Woot has some good auto-censor stuff on their forums.

Looks like you're up some now, but damn $200 BIN? That might be expecting a bit.

Yeah, but my reserve price isn't near the BIN price.  I just based the BIN off the rarity, and the only other one of those I have ever seen for sale.  I set my reserve price to what I'd really be willing to part with it for.  Less than that, and I'll keep it, and just eat the eBay fees.

Off topic, but I think Haruman is going through an identity crisis.  ;)

As a fellow Bucky O'Hare owner/lover, I hope your PCB sells for quite a bit too, but I wouldn't expect a whole lot these days. I've been watching Bucky auctions since about '99 (when I first started looking for one) and I think the most I've ever seen one sell for was in the $150 range. These days, who even knows what you can expect to get for one. Another favorite of mine, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, was my "holy grail" JAMMA PCB for years, and used to sell -- seriously -- for more than $300. The last one sold on eBay went for only $80. Same with Namco Classics 1 & 2, both were $300 PCBs that sell for under $100 now. It sucks, especially in the case of actually-rare games like Bucky, but it's just the reality of things today. Blame MAME! :(

Yeah... who knows how much it will go for.  I snagged a working Xmen vs. Street Fighter off eBay a few months ago for $40.  (I found out later that it's the Hispanic version, though  :'().  So far there are nine watchers...  no way of knowing if they are just watching, or if they are going to bid at the last minute.  Another day or so and I'll have that answer!

Only got up to $65.  My reserve was set at $100.  Oh well.  I'll just hold on to it, I guess.

It's funny, all the PCB's I buy can be played in MAME, more or less perfectly.  I still want the original hardware, though.   :dunno

Haruman, I know this is a long shot, but do you still have this Bucky o hare available? If not, do you know anyone who does have one?
Thanks Joseph
