That is, with all the mpegs?
I'm curious on how much Hard drive space all those mpegs take up?
-
Space Ace is over a gig by itself.
-
I think its 8-9 gigs....
-
Daphne MPEG sizes:
Astron Belt: 621.24Mb
Badlands: 680.29Mb
Bega's Battle: 429.03Mb
Cliff Hanger: 1.49Gb
Cobra Command: 1.26Gb
Dragon's Lair: 934.68Mb
Esh's Aurunmilla: 853.24Mb
Galaxy Ranger: 1.42Gb
Goal to Go: 1.06Gb
Space Ace: 1.58Gb
Super Don-Quixote: 1.13Gb
Thayer's Quest: 1.56Gb
so, for all the games you'll need roughly 13.5Gb space...
:o
my motto's always been "if you've got one, you've gotta get em all!"
:P
-
hard part is finding them, lol
-
Good luck getting them all to work through Daphne, and I hope you have a nice machine :) But having Dragon's Lair/Space Ace will satisfy 90% of your jones.

I got them all to work no problem. I think the Best Games from there is Cobra Command and Goal 2 Go!
-
Both of those games are terrible :) Cobra Command is barely even fun as the real deal with the flight stick :)
-
Actually cobra command is great! But I wonder how he can play goal 2 goal when it's been broken in daphne ever since I can remember. ?!?

Did I mention how infuriating this is to find

Why don't you buy the DVD-ROMS to DL and SA through Digital Leisure? Then you can just convert the mpegs/audio yourself using dvd2daphne.
-
aye, and thats two of them.
Sorry, just venting. Stuff is not always easy
-
They're on the NGs all the time, if you're too lazy to convert the DVD I sincerely hope you already own...
-
Dont even get me started on how iritated I am with figuring out how to get files off of newsgroups.
Frustrated and obviously incompetant as well
