I'm looking for a working donkey kong pcb to be put in a DK3 cabinet i'm converting/restoring back to DK. Please PM with any offers/suggestions. Thanks!

Two or four board set? Or does it matter ?
-
DK will be going in what is currently a dk3 machine that has a nintendo powersupply. I've actually got it wired to accept the nintendo power or a switching power ( mod made while troubleshooting the DK3 board) . Any differences between the 2 and 4 board version? connectors/gameplay? cost?
-
I hear 2 boards are more reliable.

yes I would stick with 2 board version. The 4 board version also had a different harness.
-
Ok..Sounds like I need a 2 board. Anyone have one for sell or a referral to a reputable/inexpensive source?
-
What do you consider inexpensive?
If you have a DK3 board that is broken or working correctly, Mike's Arcade (http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?action=url&page=pcbrepair.html) does the trade in thing. You send him your board and he will lower the price on buying a DK board from him.
Just throwing that option out there. Contact him through email if that is what you want to do.

darn, i just shipped the working dk3 board out to an ebay buyer who got too good of a deal... :hissy:
i do have a working ms.pac pcb that i could trade for a dk board if anyone is interested?
-
still looking anyone?
-
Did you contact Mike yet?
Take a look at this page (http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?action=url&page=pcbrepair.html)
He sells the Ms pac boards for more than the DK 2 board sets.
Ask him about an exchange, escpecially if the ms pac is working. You never know, may as well try.
