Title: no Mala Sound

I'm having real problems with mala and menu sounds....
the problem is they dont work.  background sounds do, .wav files are good, the sounds dont even play when I click the little play button beside the path in mala's event sound options.  I'm lost.  Anyone have similar probs, could it be cos I'm running on win 98se?

I dunno, But do you have the latest drivers for your sound card rather than the generic windows driver?

yeah, all up to date, as i mentioned its only the event sounds..all windows, game, background and jukebox sounds are all fine...its just the events...nada!
