Title: WG U5000 Still Dull

Rick heres the part numbers you needed..
Tube  R-A63ADG25X
Yoke 9A3002-1


Im still having trouble with my U5000, Ive capped it, and replaced resistor 811.  The picture is just dull...  Any suggestions...

Hook it to a rejuvinator and test its output.

Test the tube on a rejuvenator. Is the tube a Zenith? If so throw it in the garbage.

i assume u changed c805,808 (2.2uF@200v) on the main pcb .
checked and/or replaced caps on the neck board . q501,502 can fail ( low gain )
the cathode emissions would have been my 1st test......

the biggest issue on Zenith crt's is intermittent hk shorts . 
so what ,  just isolate the filaments and use it till it dies ........
there are far too many mfgr's producing junk these days .  :angry:
 pick a product , ANY product and one can find a person that will swear by it, and another that will swear AT it ...

havent changed Q501, 502.  Ill start looking to order those....
