The following project documents my pinball cab. it will have a 27 inch lcd playfield in portrait mode and a 15 inch backglass. THe software is the easy part for me its the woodworking that is the difficult part. Once the woodworking is done a custom machine will be built specifically to run visual pinball and future pinball.

I got wood!
5 sheets 2 ft x 4 ft MDF - $32.00
brackets, screws, dust mask, misc hardware. - $38.00 :dizzy:
project cost so far = $70.00
tomorrow if its nice out i will sink my teeth into this wood and start cutting. i have the whole day free to work on this. id like to make some good progress so i can verify some measurements to have the tempered glass cut. i know that takes awhile. maybe even a week. i dont want to place the order until im certain everything lines up the way i think it should

Whew. I have finished cutting the entire cabinat. I have mdf comming out of every pore. sweating like a pig. MDF is everywhere. in my hair, in my shoes, in my skin. That was way way more work then i thought. That is definatly enough for today. assembly will have to wait.
it doesnt look like much right now. but man am i tired.

So what software are you going to use to do the portrait mode stuff?
As far as I know, VP6 will work and you can customize stuff with Future Pinball for vertical too, but I haven't tried that.
