Awesome find. Too bad my local craigslist turns up ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.

Anyone spot the upside down lampshade full of golf balls that someone I know thought would be a fun decorative bowl?   :laugh2:

So preservation doesn't matter to you? Just the layout of the table looks fun enough to me.

That's a bit harsh!... Looks like quite a nice table to me. It certainly looks to be in good condition too. Especially given that it had all those new parts fitted and serviced before he got it.  Damn! $400 that's £200 UK you'd be lucky to get an empty battered box over on this side of the pond for that sort of money. That would go for about £1000 over here Just in case you need a conversion That's $2000 USD.

Best Regards,
Julian (Fozzy The Bear)

not saying the table doesn't look clean and well maintained, just saying the playfields in those 70s pinballs are boring.

Theres a couple for $200 on my craigslist, I wouldnt take them for free but thats just me.

Then why are you even here? You're in the wrong company.

And the ones on that Craigslist post are nothing like the Dracula playfield. Dracula has a far more modern setup than those.

Yeah that Dracula is SS and those on Craigslist are EM's...

Very different machines.

I have played some boring pins in my day.  This isn't one.

Just because it doesn't have spaceships whizzing around the playfield with giant hands that grab your ball or metal chutes that take the ball around your refrigerator and back.

Or the final bonus ball gives you a double enema or anything like that.

Good aim is crucial to not get screwed on some of these machines.

You must have some amazing pinball bubble around your area because pins don't get sold very often where I am from

But thanks for the non-input

Is it just my monitor, or is that pin pink?

We might have the very rare Fagula pinball game here...

Yeah i thought it looked pink in the pics but its really not! Its purple (like haunted house purple).

You must have never played this one... its pretty fun. Me and Lutus played it for hours seeing who could have the better score!

I wouldnt take them for free but thats just me.

Thats one of the dumbest things ive heard/read! This is what your saying, "If I were GIVEN something that was of value that alot of people collect, and had the opportunity to sell it and make money, I WOULDNT DO IT!"

mrserv0n, those are definently EM pins.  You need to get all your facts straight before you attempt to give what you would consider to be a decent contribution to a conversation.  Couple of things you have overlooked.

1.  Those EM pins you linked said they needed "work".  EM pins are NOT easy to work on, so the pins could take $100's to get back to good condition.  The money estimate includes the amount of time necessary.

2.  The previous owner just purchased and installed an Ultimate MPU (http://www.marcospecialties.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=ULTIMATE&tp=) board.  Value = $200

3.  Previous owner installed a refurbished lamp driver PWB for $100.

4.  Included in the sale were the replaced boards from above, new rubbers, new pinball, extra seven segment display (http://www.marcospecialties.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=PS%2D2518%2D21) worth $50.

Therefore, I have listed $350 worth of new parts for the machine.  So if you want to get nitpicky, I bought the above parts and got a pinball machine to go with it for only $50 more.

Furthermore.... mrserv0n,

Mr. Pinball Price Guide states:

1979 Stern Dracula in VG condition -> $575.

This pin is the nicest Solid State I have seen.

Also take a look at this (http://www.bostonpinball.biz/PriceList112407.htm) info....

Remind me which pins give the double enema so if I do buy one, I don't get one of those.

All the ones in mrserv0n's personal collection.  You would have to ask the  :tool: man himself.

Don't look now, but my n00b is about to show.

What's the difference between an EM and an SS?  SS is solid state I gather, but what does EM stand for and what do each entail?

EM is electromechanical

Everything you ever wanted to know about pins is below:

Electro Mechanical (http://www.pinrepair.com/em/)

Solid State (http://www.pinrepair.com/bally/)   my particular type anyways

BYOAC members celebrate their happiness and at times other members poop on the happiness because it does not fit their liking or price point.

I have never understood that either on this board or elsewhere.

Beauty is in the price of the holder and different cities produce very different finds and prices for same.

Kudos for the find and may you enjoy many fruitful hours of pleasure playing it!
