been away from the scene and looking into this now. Doing some light reading and found some good things said about both of these. Any preferences from the community around either/or? Are both readily available? Do they both have reasonable support and frequent enough firmware updates?
Also, where is the best place to purchase these things in the US? (some online place that's reliable?)
Add one more question, do you need to flash with either of these? (I think not, but just wanted to verify)

I have had Zero issues with either R4 I bought. There is no soddering at all, its damn dear perfert if you ask me. I got mine at divineo.com but after doing a quick check they dont seem to be in stock there.

I don't have either of those, but I do have a DSTT (The R4 was in short supply over the holidays, and this newcomer seemed to be the go to alternative), which has been excellent.
As for where to purchase it...
