Title: issues with perfect 360 / ipac4
Post by: findar on April 21, 2008, 10:21:33 pm
having a little trouble here.  got my cab finally assembled but when i plug my perfect 360's(player1/2) into power(5v red cable on an atx power supply) i get 7-8ish blinking lights on the board(1-2, but the error codes dont seem to matchup).  the joysticks themselves arent lit up underneath(are they supposed to?).  if i plug both in to power it wont even turn the ipac on.

anyone have any insight or suggestions what to try?  google has been hit and miss on this.

dunno what Ipac4 you have but I connected my Ipac4 to PS/2 and connected the P360 +5vdc to the header of the Ipac.
Nolights underneath that you see.

yea i tried that.  ive tried powering it directly from the atx power supply.  tried from another pc via stripping a usb cord and using that.  what seems to happen is it locks up the 1/2 player side.  its a fairly new ipac4(bought it a year ago) and it worked when everything but the 360's were plugged in.  so obviously an issue with that but im not sure how to fix it :(
