2 reasons....
1. I know you guys got some and I want to see some results.
2. I want someone to hurry up and finish so I can buy the stencil set off of you! ;)
So get on that.

I would think a Pac-Man stencil should be easy as pie(pun intended) to make.
-
They are all too chicken :laugh2:
Someone send me some stencils and I will do a tutorial.

Seems that way.

The stencil is not that difficult, it is the black outlines around everything that would be the hard part.

Probably cost an arm and a leg but isn't there companies who would create stencils for a price? I'm sure someone in the art forum would gladly make a vector graphic of one for you.

That road has been traveled down before and there are some member who have stencils in hand. But I haven't seen anyone use them yet.
I may just go with the sticker side art route. I am lazy.

You may have no choice but stickers for Pac-man, unless you can convince Brian (pr0k) to give up his vector files for stencils. Good luck on that one.
I will be applying the Ms. Pac stencils I got from JoyMonkey real soon, probably a week give or take and that tutorial will be on rotheblog.
As far as stencils are concerned, the professionals on the board that are in the business say that single use (disposable) stencils are the best because they are peel/stick vinyl and create tight-seal lines and prevent the bleed you get from lexan multi-use stencils. So the idea of passing you a set along, after use is probably a long shot.
You can get some decent stickers off eBay...there were some available for 100 shipped a week ago on there. If you want Ms. Pac stencils, you can DL the JoyMonkey stencil artwork from the Arcade Art Library and take it to your local sign shop and have them cut you a set.

I am going on TDY all next week, so I think I will wait and see how your stencil tutorial goes and compare that to the sticker sets available in various sources, not twobits.
I will be watching wundercade. So GET TO IT.

Don't know if anyone has popped over to my site recently or not yet, but I am nearing the end of my Ms. Pac-man stenciling project. I got through almost all of the black stencil today, and if you poke around on the homepage, you can see progress of my other colors as well.
Will be writing part 4 - X? of the official tutorial once I am all done.

did you finish this? i can't seem to find the post on the final layers.

I think I got to writing part 7 of the tutorial, which where I left off was the yellow Ms. Pac-man stencil I believe. I have yet to write the remaining parts.
I did finish the cabinet last fall.
